The Project
Chester Music Lab is a recording studio in the heart of Barcelona specialised in handcrafted music from all around the world.
Besides their usual recording sessions they publish videos for their YouTube series "Chester Sessions" on a regular basis. Those videos show the band perform during their recording sessions.
The Concept
We wanted to create an intro for the Chester Sessions' clips that show the process before the actual recordings. In order to not narrow down the music genres of the sessions and keep it neutral for all kinds of music, we only showed sound equipment and no instrument.
The Design
We wanted to keep a classic monochrome look, with strong contrasts and create a cosy and warm ambience with warm, colourful accents.
